Stainton is a village some five miles from the centre of Middlesbrough on Teesside standing in rolling hills above the River Tees with the North Yorkshire Moors at its back.   The Memorial Hall, built in 1844 as a National School, is used for a wide variety of events and, apart from the pub over the road, is the heart of the village where many of the groups meet or perform.   In the past it has even seen pantomimes with the cast coming from the village and enjoying packed houses.

It has a unique history which is on the next page.

Regular events are held, too, in the hall a list of which is on page three and special events are noted and published on Page Four.

To book the hall please click on the Bookings page where contact email and telephone numbers may be found.

And finally, at the gallery we hope to publish images of some of the events that have taken place in the Hall and Village.
